…..becomes Filatov the First!
After no less than 5 seventh places during the season, VCB’s Ukrainian lieutenant took 2 first places recently. After VCB had plummeted into 5th division with Team Captain, Tom Bella taking a rest to re-charge, it was planned that Filatov and Elizondo should secure vital points prior to the start of next season. With Filatov’s 140 points after, first a win in France and thereafter in Greece, it means that approximately 90 points could secure a stable seat in 3rd division and thereby also the possibility to gain access to the Monte Rosa Tour.
The MRT has been a goal for Bella for two seasons now, however the team has failed to secure a spot, and we are not planning to participate next season either, just in order not to jinx the hope we have right now. On Friday, Zacarias Elizondo will lead VCB in the hunt for new points in another Greek race, Volos – Larisa. Hereafter Tom Bella will return to the Captain seat for the All 3 race in his home country of Australia; Korumburra Grand Prix
In other news it seems that VCB has met one of its targets this season with the likely acquisition of a Belgian TM. While it is not yet made official as paperwork still needs to be done, it looks like the final 20 days of the season has been successful for the team.

Yeah, I do not dare to say that we will meet in Switzerland, but sure hope so. With Bella there and taking the recent competitors in that Tour into account, it could become epic :)
Bella will be in shape too :P
I see, I guess we have to cross our swords in Switzerland. Beware Ture will be in shape
